Erin*, our 13yo, is usually good about remembering birthdays. She was at her dad's during both mine and Jim's birthdays so she was unable to give us our birthday gifts until this evening.

We'll be taking off from here in about 15 minutes. I've been spending my morning reading all the good thoughts and well-wishes from friends in the ether; I am overwhelmed and thankful for everyone.
