I blog, apparently

Well, here we are again.

I don't have a good reason for the blog hiatus, really. To be truthful, I hadn't really thought about it much in a long time, until very recently. Even then, it was "you know, that could be fun..." The revolving cycle of good ideas.

So what brought it up this was our upcoming trip to Colorado. The idea of working on a fun project on a trip is appealing to me, and so I enrolled in a "make yourself a better photographer" course, to do during the trip using the beautiful Colorado mountains as photo subjects for course projects. Which lead to wanting somewhere to put the photos up where people could see them. Oh, and write about them. So, blog.

I did change up the look if you'll notice. The background has kind of a Charlotte Perkins Gilman thing going on, don't you think? I'm not sure it's a permanent change yet, we'll see how it grows on me. And you.

It's a fine camera and easy to use, but I'm not very methodical about what and how I do things. I often don't remember what settings I use, so it's difficult for me to successfully edit my photos la...
